a fan project

Inspired by Pandora - The World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom, I decided to try something with mostly premade stuff. Crafting a landscape all by myself was way beyond my skills. Why not combine "avatarish" looking plants and items, play around with blacklight paint, glow-in-the-dark pigments and uv lighting and hope for the best? So here's my little DIY blog about my attempt. It will be not too detailed, because it does not need to be. May this site inspire you to build your very own avatarish scenario. It is not difficult at all. Note: it is very hard to get good pics from anything lit by uv light. Your diorama will look much more beautiful in reality.
